Sonatrach Signs Green Energy and Methane-Reduction Cooperation Agreement

On 4 November, Sonatrach signed a memorandum with the World Bank’s International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and International Finance Corporation to explore gas-flaring reduction, methane-emission control and green hydrogen development. No project investment value was announced. The agreement creates opportunities for environmental engineering firms, emissions-monitoring providers and clean-energy investors.
